Chelsea players went to nightclub hours after Everton defeat, Poch approved

 

After the Everton defeat last weekend, Chelsea players went for a night out, according to reports in the Telegraph and the Athletic.

After returning to London from Liverpool, the players first went to the Bagatelle restaurant before heading to Tape nightclub.

The night out was organised by Reece James, who as a captain wanted to set up a team-bonding social event for Christmas.

The captain asked Mauricio Pochettino for the go-ahead after the game and the head coach gave the green light for the players to continue with their plans.

Chelsea are 12th in the table.
