'Sometimes s*** happens': Mudryk sends Instagram message to Trippier after Carabao Cup disasterclass

 

Chelsea defeated Newcastle in the Carabao Cup quarter-final in dramatic fashion. The Blues scored an equaliser in added time and then won on penalties.

Kieran Trippier's mistake allowed Mykhaylo Mudryk to level the score in added time. The Englishman then missed a penalty in the shootout.

Taking to Instagram, Misha wrote: “Kieran, I just wanna say to you: stay strong. Sometimes s*** happens but I think you are [a] strong footballer, no matter what.”
